It's official - The Niagara Directory will be ready to launch on January 1, 2006. The Niagara Directory is a brand new site that has been completely re-built and re-positioned to provide all of our members and our visitors with a more highly effective web site and web experience. Our web team has built a brand new administration area that is much easier for our members to use and designed a new look that allows our visitors the ability to find your business and the information they are looking for much easier.
Phase One of the new site will incorporate the new look along with all of the same great features that our members and visitors have been accustomed to when visiting Choose Niagara.ca. In fact, visitors will still be able to navigate to The Niagara Directory by typing in www.chooseniagara.ca. This is essential to maintain the readership and search engine ranking that we have built over the last 2 years. Due to the success of the Summer and Fall Executive Membership special, The Niagara Directory will continue to offer the low advertising cost of $49.95/year to all new members - with new features being offered to all of our members at the same low price!
Phase Two will incorporate enhanced Member features, affiliate programs, individual member statistics, page ranking, as well as an increase in current Niagara Region and industry-specific information for our visitors.
NOTE: www.chooseniagara.ca WILL continue to point to www.theniagaradirectory.com. The high level of traffic that the site currently enjoys will not decrease; in fact, it will increase with the additional and new exposure. In 2005 we doubled the amount of visitors to the site from the year before. With our new marketing efforts, we are projected to more-than-double visitors to the site in 2006 - increasing exposure to YOUR business!

:: BOYS & GIRLS CLUB NIAGARA

We're excited, and I know Jennifer (now Wallace) is excited to launch the all-new Boys and Girls Club of Niagara's web site. Though the site still has a bit of content to be added to several sections, the new site offers visitors more information than ever before.
A new, bold look was created by the DANIMA staff with a lot of friendly faces and pics to reflect all of the great things that happen at the club. But that just scratches the surface of what was done. A full Content Management System (eZ Editor) was added to make maintenance easy and quick. As well, DANIMA's programming gurus created an Employee Management System allowing Managers to add staff to programs, monitor staff hours, and more. Their staff are able to login and log their hours for the current pay period and view previous pay periods.
The Employee Management System will be live on January 1, 2006, but the site is up for all to see.

From one Jennifer to another! In late summer, Ms. Jennifer Alfieri approached DANIMA to re-design her web site and provide her with functionality that her current site didn't have. Well, not only is she a proud new Mom, but she is also very patient and after enduring a designer change in September and a few bumps, DANIMA and Jennifer completed a great new site for Unique Invites.
The site showcases the great work that Jennifer does for her clients, providing testimonials, samples and great resources. DANIMA implemented another Content Manager, as well as providing Jennifer with the ability to manage all of her testimonials in her administration area.

Back when Dave from DANIMA's niece was born he decided that it would be a nice gesture to create a website to celebrate her first year of life. Then when his son was born it was inevitable that little Evan James would have his own site. Little did we know that it would be award-winning! Family and friends from as far away as Texas and even Italy are able to watch the little Pookster grow up on-line.
Well, after a Red Sox/Blue Jay game, friend and fellow football-pooler, Dean Michel decided that he too wanted to have a web site for his new son so family and friends could watch little Findley Michel grow up. This idea has grown and in the New Year DANIMA will be offering a package to proud parents to have their very own web site for their children.

:: EARLY YEARS NIAGARA NEW LOOK

Back in the summer, DANIMA's team sat down with Judy Reid and Michelle Thacker of the Business Education Council of Niagara to discuss a new look for The Early Years Niagara web site. The site not only needed a web-lift, but it also required additional functionality that was not available on the current site.
A fresh new look was designed by DANIMA Designer, Leigh-Ann Frommann, giving the site a bright and welcoming appeal. As well, a Content Managment System (eZ Editor) was added to the Administration Area to allow Michelle complete control of all of the content on the site, including the announcements on the front page and in the right column of the site. A voting system was created for various polls that will be administered on the site. Finally, a Calendar of Events was added to the Admin Area to allow Michelle to manage upcoming events.
