:: DANIMA COMPLETES NEW EZ RESERVATION SYSTEM FOR FALLSVIEW HILTON
|
|
It took approximately 8 months of developing and a month of testing, but DANIMA's new EZ Reservations is now completed thanks to the hard work of Inchul and Curtiss and the diligence of Vince and James over at the Hilton. In fact, the system is fully operational at the following sites: www.niagarafallshoteldiscounts.com, www.niagarafallshilton.com, www.niagaradaysinn.com, www.niagarafallsdaysinn.com, www.niagarafallshamptoninn.com and www.niagarabestwestern.com.
What is the eZ Reservations System?
eZ Reservations is a web-based application that allows site visitors to book rooms and packages in a secure, easy-to-use environment. This system is easily integrated into any existing hotel web site. eZ Reservations can easily accommodate multiple properties for your convenience.
Does it have a Tracking System?
Sure does! eZ Reservations allows you to track traffic, sales and both on-line and off-line advertising campaigns. Get reports on Google Ad campaigns, Yahoo campaigns, print ad campaigns and more. Use the tracking system to help you direct your marketing dollars into the proper channels.
Can I set up Affilates with other sites?
Yes, eZ Reservations allows the system administrator to add affiliates to the system in minutes. Your partners can help you make money quickly and easily. As well, all of the affiliates receive a login and password into a secure area to view reports on their monthly progress.

:: OASBO RE-DESIGN COMPLETE
|
|
Back in September of '05 the DANIMA Team met with Merv Mascarenhas from the Toronto Catholic District School Board to discuss DANIMA's eZ Editor and other possibilities with their School Board site. What came from the meeting was a presentation to the Ontario Association of School Board Officials. This group was looking for a re-design of their site, a Member's Management System and a Content Manager.
After working closely with Lori Haley, Bill Blackie and the OASBO team for two months, the all-new OASBO web site went live in February. The site now offers committee administrators to update their individual committee information, overall content management by the site administrator and provides on-line member registration. The Membership Management System allows our pals Lil and Suzanne to manage their membership in an easy-to-use and secure environment.
It was a pleasure working with these folks and we hope you take a minute to visit their new site at www.oasbo.org

:: HOSPITALITE CANADA NEW SITE
|
|
In early 2006 DANIMA met with Marina Wilson, owner of Hospitalité Canada, to design a simple but effective web site that would provide visitors with information on her unique services.
Hospitalité Canada offers homestay placement services to Canadian or International students and visitors coming to the Niagara Region in Ontario Canada. They will find you an English speaking host family who will help you in your quest to experience the Canadian lifestyle and culture.
The Hospitalité Canada web site provides visitors to the site with testimonials on her services, on-line application forms for students and host families, as well as information on how to contact Marina to learn more about her services.
Stop by Hospitalité Canada's and find out more about Marina's business!

:: THE NIAGARA DIRECTORY'S "TOURIST FOR A DAY..OR 2"
|
|
After switching over from Choose Niagara.ca to The Niagara Directory.com in early January, the DANIMA team has completed Phase One of the project and the site is reaching new heights. With a long list of new members and almost 10,000 local businesses in the current database, The Niagara Directory is, without question, Niagara's number one on-line business directory.
Now entering Phase Two of the directory, the team has decided that it was time to kick-it-up-a-notch and add a little excitement to the site. Starting June 7th, The Niagara Directory will begin a new contest called "Niagara Tourist For A Day...or 2!"
Every Wednesday until September 13, The Niagara Directory will be drawing a name from our database to win a Niagara-based prize (theatre tickets, wine tours, etc.). The Grand Prize (to be determined) will be drawn at 4pm on September 13, 2006. Everyone is eligible (except for DANIMA employees, of course). To enter the contest individuals will need to fill out a small on-line form that will enter them into our "contest" database (the form will be available on May 1st).
We will have more information on the contest shortly. If you are a Niagara area business and would like to donate a prize (gift certificate, etc.) please contact Leigh-Ann at leigh@danima.com.

:: ANOTHER DANIMA BABY SITE
|
|
Christmas came a bit early for the Pasco family when Matthew Francis Pasco was born in late November of 2006. With all the friends and family around the globe that these 2 parents have, it was obvious that this child would need
his own web site...even if he were to be a Yankee fan.
On Christmas Eve, Matthew's web site was launched and within a week this little boy was getting almost 100 hits a day to his site. Now, the 4th baby site that DANIMA has completed, the site offers a full content management system that allows the parents to update the content of the site regularly, photo administration for easy to upload gallery photos, a daily blog and more.
Later in 2006 DANIMA will begin marketing baby site templates as part of the EZ-product series that began with our friends at Kriostech and the EZ Editor and EZ Store.
Stop by Matthew's web site and see how cute this little guy is - www.matthewpasco.com

:: NIAGARA FALLS RIB FEST
|
|

Mmmmm, tasty ribs and beer! It wasn't hard for DANIMA to sink their teeth into this one. DANIMA's top-notch designer, Ms. Leigh-Ann Frommann, was given creative licence from Tony, Nancy and the Niagara Falls Ribfest Committee to come up with a fun look for this great event. And she did it in one try!!
Though still in the early stages of the web site, it currently provides visitors with information on the event, the date, photos from last year's event and a contact form. The site will evolve over the next few months as DANIMA Dave gets more involved with the committee. The key part of the site is that, once again, DANIMA's eZ Editor was installed to make it easy for any of the administrators to maintain site content in the future.
Check out the web site at www.niagarafallsribfest.com and don't forget to stop by the Optimist in Niagara Falls from June 16 to -18 for some good ribs and some good fun!

PR + SEO = Increased E-xpsoure to your site!
-- by David Rotella Jr.
The term "SEO (Search Engine Optimization)", has suddenly found it’s way into our e-venacular. It looks like our little web sites have all grown up. At first they were just cute little pages about our businesses, selves, products, etc. Gif’s danced on the front page, text scrolled across the top of the page and pictures slowly loaded on 28.8k dial up connections as we provided the global community with a window into our worlds. Then our web worlds began to change as the connection speeds increased and we added Flash and E-Commerce to our sites, databased systems, content management and other great tools that changed our sites from simple brochures to interactive tools that saved us and made us money! Well, maybe not. And that’s why SEO has become an acronym that more and more people are becoming aware of these days. Many people are realizing that they have invested time and money into this "web-product" but people are not finding their site. The art of driving traffic to your site is constantly evolving and understanding and keeping your finger on the SEO-pulse is imperative for the success of any web site.
In the past, I have discussed various elements of Search Engine Optimization. Everything from "Making Your Site Search Engine Ready" to "Link Popularity". And now a new SEO phenomenon is sweeping the e-waves - the idea that traditional PR (Public Relations) and SEO are actually linked. When I saw an article on this come through my inbox a few weeks ago I decided to do a bit of research. The funny thing was, I already knew this, but I wasn’t actively connecting the two. Those of you who are active in trying to get your sites ranked higher in search engines may be spending a lot of time creating reciprocal links to create link popularity. Great work...keep it up! But you may be surprised to know that there are some traditional PR tools on the Internet that can assist you with this task.
