YOUR DIVORCE STORY.COM LAUNCH
|
|
When "Till death do us part" isn't always the case
Yourdivorcestory.com provides online portal for inspired authors that have dealt with divorce
ST. CATHARINES, ONTARIO… (September 31, 2006): Divorce is never a pleasant experience. Many of us have either been through a divorce or have been witness to the emotional rollercoaster. Here's your chance to share your story. Yourdivorcestory.com provides site visitors with an opportunity to share their personal divorce story.
Have you ever met someone that has told you about their own divorce story and they finish the conversation with the line, "I could write a book", well that is exactly the idea behind www.yourdivorcestory.com. The Web site will be actively soliciting submissions from across North America. Submissions should be no longer than 700 words. The top 20-25 submissions will be included in a yet to be released book sharing the same name as the Web site.
"We will be posting portions of the submissions throughout the process
that you site visitors can follow on a regular basis. As well, we will be updating
the Web site on a weekly basis so that people can track the progress of the idea from online through to the production of the book," said Steve Stunt, founder of yourdivorcestory.com.

PINEHURST SCHOOL LAUNCH
|
|
Late last spring, David Bird, Principal of Pinehurst School contacted DANIMA to re-design their school web site. The school wanted the ability to update their own content without having to contact us for changes.
Well, this time Leigh-Ann out-did herself with a beautiful design and with the help of the DANIMA programming staff her creative came to life. The site includes an administrative area to view, add and email contacts, and it also includes the eZ Editor which allows their administrator to update all of the content on the site.
The site also allows visitors to submit an application on-line and these applications are managed by the Pinehurst administrator in their password protected admin area.

KAWARTHAS PINE RIDGE DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD'S NEW SITE
|
|
Well, it was a roller-coaster ride...but after many months of planning, developing and final tweaking, the all-new Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board web site is up and running. Together with the hard work and patience of Greg Kidd, Sonia Wilson and Michael McGinn, the DANIMA Team ploughed through this 325+ page site and finally launched the new site on the first day of school in early September.
The new Kawartha web site now includes DANIMA's eZ Editor and an archived News and Articles Manager. With that much content and with the move over to the Kawartha Pine Ridge server there were a few bumps and bruises but with the hard work of our team and the Kawartha Pine Ridge's team the project continues to move forward with a few loose ends to tie up.
The Kawartha Pine Ridge web site is one of a string of School Board projects that have emerged thanks to the Ontario Association of School Board Officials project. This includes the Kawartha Pine Ridge "New Teacher Network" site that will be launching shortly.
Take a minute to stop by the Kawartha site today at www.kprschools.ca.

MONTHLY MARKETING ARTICLE

Is your web site eZ to maintain?
-- by David Rotella Jr.
We could spend hours recounting web site maintenance horror stories, but the bottom line is "that was then and this is now". And in the now, web site owners have many more options than before when it comes to maintaining their site content.
We all know how important it is to keep your site fresh and updated regularly, but what do you do if you don't know how to FTP into your site files and you do not know HTML or other programming languages? Well, you purchase a Content Management System. Yikes, that sounds expensive! In the past, a true Content Management System did cost a great deal of money, hence, small businesses could not implement them into their web sites. But that has all changed. Products like eZ Editor and eZ Site Builder allow you to update your site content, add pages, add photos, pdf's, hyper-links and more. Not only are products like these inexpensive to add to your site, but you don't have to be a programmer to utilize them to their fullest potential. If you understand Microsoft Word you can handle these tools! It's that easy.
Other web site functionality that was once out of the site owner's control, such as, on-line web stores, reservation system, inventory control and contact management systems have all become affordable and easy to use. Products such as eZ Store, eZ Reservations and eZ Stats allow a site administrator access into a password-protected environment to manage their various systems. The best part about all of these products is that they easily implement into existing web sites at affordable prices. No more long waits for price changes on a product in your e-store, or room rates in your on-line reservations system. By simply logging in to an administrative area on your web site you can make all of this changes yourself!
The e-landscape has changed dramatically over the last 10 years and the technology now allows you to be in control of your own web site. And who better to be in control of your web site than YOU! Check out these great products today and get "in control" Check out DANIMA's eZ Products today.
