DANIMA NOW OFFERS VIDEO COMMERCIALS FOR YOUR SITE

We don't want you to think that we are resting on our laurels here at DANIMA. With the myriad of services we currently offer, we are proud to announce that we are now offering Video Production to our repertoire of E-services. That's right, DANIMA has teamed up with Tom Chalmers of TC Services to produce video and video commercials for our clients. As with all of our services, we are offering this production at rates that will definitely fit into your marketing budget.
So, what is a video commercial? A video commercial is a one minute to 2 minute video for your web site that acts as a commercial for your business. Add a personal touch to your web site by personally introducing your business to the global community. KPR NEW TEACHER MODULES

It's been a long but fun ride with Jeff and Carol over at the Kawarthas Public School Board, but we finally have a great product for their New Teacher Development program.
Working closely with the KPRNTIP team, DANIMA developed a web site that allows new teachers to login and complete various modules and captivates in a secure environment. The original modules were sent as Word Perfect documents and the DANIMA team transformed them into on-line forms that a teacher accesses and completes in their members area. The teacher's progress is tracked and stats are available for the administrator to view. As well, Board Mandated "captivates" have recently been added to the site.
The site allows the administrator to manage new teacher profiles, update all content, add new resource links and a Resource Management System was created to allow the administrator to manage Elementary and Secondary resources on the site with ease.

MANTELS OF MERIT

Wade from Mantels of Merit came to DANIMA with a brochure and a dream. Okay, a bit corny and dramatic...but it sounded good when I was typing it. Actually, Wade came to DANIMA a few months back wanting simply a brochure web site with a bit of a flare. His marketing materials consisted of a brochure and he had his van completely wrapped with his business information and a great photo of a fireplace mantel that he created. Wade was looking for something to compliment the imagery he had already begun creating. So, our designer quickly went to work to bring Wade's E-dream to reality.
After a few variations and some minor changes, the DANIMA Team created a web site that not only provides information on Mantels of Merit's services, but also provides imagery that showcase Wade's creativity and skill.
The web site is completely maintained by Wade using DANIMA's eZ Editor content management tool and an easy-to-use photo gallery system.

WELCOME ABOARD NIAGARA HOSPITALITY HOTELS

When I first started writing the current newsletter it was so long ago that we were at the point of welcoming aboard Niagara Hospitality Hotels. Well, a couple of months has passed (we've been busy) and we are now half-way through this very big project with the NHH group - re-designing 7 of their web sites. During this time we have actually completed 4 sites and are in the process of completing the remainder of the contract.
Doug and Blake from NHH met with DANIMA a couple of months ago to discuss doing a complete overhaul of their web sites and that's just what we've been doing. As mentioned, since we began the project with NHH we completed 4 sites - www.oakeshotel.com, www.daysinnfallsviewcasino.com, www.daysinncliftonhill.com, and www.innatlundyslane.com

PHYSICIAN RECRUITMENT SITE

Working closely with Jill Cappa of Physician Recruitment Niagara, DANIMA took her old niagaradocs.ca web site, gave it a new look, added a few new sections and added quite a bit more content to the site.
The new site also utilizes the eZ Edtior allowing Jill the ability to update her entire site quickly and easily!
This new site provides Physicians looking to re-locate to Niagara with information on job opportunities, locums, spousal employment, and more. The site also provides information about the Niagara Region and all the great things Niagara has to offer within it's 12 communities.

Once Lucy Continelli got her hands on this project, the one year development hiatus was quickly put behind us and it was full-steam ahead. In a matter of months the final development of this great new web site was complete and PBG was back on the global map.

The Power of Google AdWords

A few years ago I was attending my very first E-Niagara Awards when something the keynote speaker said really caught my attention. He mentioned that he attributed much of his on-line business success to the "power" of Google AdWords. "Hmmmm", I thought, "very interesting"! He continued by saying that in order to find this kind of success a business MUST be using this great tool. Well, since DANIMA was not utilizing this tool at the time and I since I really wasn't too familiar with the process, I went home and immediately started to research Google AdWords. Boy, I'm glad I did!
What I learned that night and what I have learned since is that this particular keynote speaker was correct. It was powerful. I set up our account and immediately saw a spike in the traffic to various DANIMA sites. Sure, not all businesses that use Google AdWords will become Fortune 500 companies overnight, however, without utilizing Google AdWords at all you are definitely limiting your on-line business success to the "organic" search results and we all know how much work goes into getting your sight ranked high in "organic" listings. Why wait for the web crawlers to catch your site, why not take control yourself! That's what we did and it has paid off!
So, what are Google AdWords?
Well, for those of you who don't know what this great tool is, let me shine a bit of light on the subject. You know the results page on Google that you see after you type in a string of keywords and hit "Google Search"? You know those highlighted sponsored links at the top of the page and the ones on the left of the page? They are the results of a Google AdWords campaign. These web sites/businesses have created an AdWords Account and subsequently a Google AdWords campaign. It's not "rocket science" but it is definitely a bit time-consuming to describe the entire process, so I'll leave that to the on-line tutorials. The long and short of it is that you set up an account for your web site/business at Google and you then proceed to choose the keywords that you think people will type in when searching for your site (for example: niagara business directory). You then attach a click-through cost to this (that's another article all-together). You can also set daily limits for how much you want to spend (very important). Oh yeah, and you also create your very own ad(s) for your Google AdWord campaign. All of these steps are really easy and the results are quick. In fact, once you give them your credit card info the results are instantaneous. What makes AdWords such a powerful tool is that it is a live system. If you make a change to your campaign you will see results immediately. Add a new keyword phrase to your campaign, set your click through cost and then go to Google and see your ad come up when you search for that phrase. Quick, easy and very effective. Did I mention powerful?
