To make changes to your website using eZ Editor you must first log in as the site Administrator. After eZ Editor is installed into your website you should receive your site Administrator username and password.
Logging into your site as Administrator is neccessary in order to prevent unauthorized visitors from gaining access to edit your website.
To login as Administrator complete the following 3 steps.
- Open Internet Explorer version 5.5 or greater. Currently eZ Editor is only compatible with Internet Explorer versions 5.5 or greater. A Mozilla and Netscape version is currently in the works and should be available by 2006.

- Type your website address into the Internet Explorer address bar. Once your website loads, add /login to the end of your website address in the Internet Explorer address bar for example www.yourdomainname.com/login. This will take you to the Administrator login page of your website.

- Once the login screen appears enter your Administrator username and password and click the 'Login' button.

- After a successful login the View/Edit Control Panel will be displayed at the top of your website. You are now ready to move on to the next step Step 2 - Choosing a page to edit
