Undo Undo & Redo Redo

The Undo button reverse the last change made to any contents in the editor work area such as cutting or formatting of any text.

The Redo button reverses the last Undo command.

Example

  1. If you do not wish to use your website pages for testing you can visit http://www.ezeditor.net/ and click on the EZEDITOR DEMO page. Once there click the Login button to be logged in as Guest Administrator. After logging in click on the TEST AREA page then click the Edit button at the top of the page. Once the page reloads in Edit Mode you can move on to Step 6 and begin this exercise.


  2. If you wish to use your own website for testing then Login to your website as Administrator.


  3. Go to a page with eZ Editor installed.


  4. Do not save any of the changes you make while performing this exercise if you do not want to affect the current contents of the page you are using.


  5. Once logged in switch into Edit Mode on the page that you will be performing this exercise on.


  6. Type any text into the Editor Workarea such as
    Test Text


  7. Using your mouse select the 'Test Text' text by highlighting the words.


  8. To highlight any text simply place your cursor before or after the words you wish to highlight. Hold down the left mouse button. Move the mouse left, right, up, or down until the text is highlighted.


  9. With the words highlighted click the Cut Cut button on the editor toolbar.


  10. The highlighted 'Test Text' text will be removed and stored in the clipboard.


  11. To undo the removal of the 'Test Text' text click the Undo button.


  12. To redo the action click the Redo button and the 'Test Text' text will once again appear in the Editor Workarea.
