Remove Hyper Link
This function removes a hyperlink from the current selected contents of the Editor Workarea. A hyperlink is an image or portion of text on a Web page that is linked to another Web page, either on the same site or in another Web site. Clicking on the link will take the user to another Web page, or to another place on the same page.
Example
- If you do not wish to use your website pages for testing you can visit http://www.ezeditor.net/ and click on the EZEDITOR DEMO page. Once there click the Login button to be logged in as Guest Administrator. After logging in click on the TEST AREA page then click the Edit button at the top of the page. Once the page reloads in Edit Mode you can move on to Step 6 and begin this exercise.
- If you wish to use your own website for testing then Login to your website as Administrator.
- Go to a page with eZ Editor installed.
- Do not save any of the changes you make while performing this exercise if you do not want to affect the current contents of the page you are using.
- Once logged in switch into Edit Mode on the page that you will be performing this exercise on.
- Create or locate any Hyper Link on the page you are currently working on.
- Existing Hyper Links are usually underlined and appear in a blue color.
- Once you have located a Hyper Link click on any letter, number or symbol that is part of the Hyper Link. If the Hyper Link button on the Editor Toolbar becomes active then you have successfully located a Hyper Link.

- Once you have located the Hyper Link click the Remove Hyper Link button on the Editor Toolbar to remove the Hyper Link.
- The Hyper Link will be removed and the text will return to its normal state.
